Service Description

The RAG’S Standard of Honesty In the detailing world, you’ll hear a lot of talk about "permanent" coatings or "5-year" guarantees. At RAG’S, we tell it like it is: No ceramic coating is maintenance-free. A ceramic coating is a high-end sacrificial layer that bonds to your paint to protect it from the elements. While it is incredibly durable, it is not a "set it and forget it" solution—especially here in New Hampshire. Road salt, winter brine, and environmental fallout will eventually "clog" the coating if it isn't cared for. Its lifespan depends entirely on how it is maintained. The Restoration & Application Process A ceramic coating is only as good as the surface it’s sticking to. We don't just "wash and wipe." We perform a restoration of the paint before the coating ever touches the vehicle: Deep Decontamination Wash: Our signature 16-Step System to remove all surface oils and old waxes. Clay Bar Treatment: Lifting embedded grit and road film for a glass-smooth finish. Single-Stage Paint Correction: We use professional machine polishers to level the clear coat, removing light scratches and swirls while exploding the paint's gloss and clarity. Surface Prep & Precision Application: A final chemical cleaning followed by a meticulous application of the ceramic shield. Why Maintenance Is Non-Negotiable Think of your coating like a high-performance filter. Over time, it catches microscopic debris that stops water from beading and dulls the shine. To get the most out of your investment, the coating requires: Proper Washing: Avoiding harsh automatic car washes that use aggressive chemicals. Periodic Resets: Using specialized products to "unclog" the coating and restore its performance. The "Easy Button" for Your Coating If you don't want to worry about the chemistry of keeping your coating alive, we offer the RAG’S Ceramic Protection Program. This is our recurring VIP service where we handle the professional maintenance for you. We use pH-neutral soaps and ceramic-infused boosters to keep your shield performing like Day 1 for as long as you own the vehicle. The Result: A vehicle that stays cleaner longer, shines deeper, and is shielded against the harshest conditions New Hampshire can throw at it.

By booking a service, you agree to these policies. 1. Access to a working water spigot and a standard electrical outlet is required for all mobile jobs. Mobile service is available within a 35-mile radius of Franklin, NH. 2. The Weather Policy - The RAG’S Standard All mobile appointments are weather-dependent. To ensure the quality of our ceramic sealants and technical labor, we cannot perform mobile services in rain, high winds, or extreme cold. In the event of inclement weather, RAG’S reserves the right to reschedule your service or move the appointment to our Tilton Shop at 549 W Main St to ensure your vehicle is protected and the job is done right. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Your time is valuable, and so is ours. We require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. We perform a multi-stage assessment upon arrival; if the vehicle requires work beyond the booked package, we will discuss price adjustments before we begin. 5.
